Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 25, 2026
Overview
Flaunt is a Chrome extension that automates the process of refreshing ("bumping") your Depop listings. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and what we do not do.
Data We Do Not Collect
Flaunt does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- We do not collect your Depop username or password
- We do not collect your Depop session tokens or cookies
- We do not collect information about your listings
- We do not send any data to external servers
- We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind
Data Stored Locally
Flaunt stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your browser:
- Settings: Your bump interval, daily limit, smart order, and human mode preferences
- Stats: Total bumps performed, last bump time, and last session count
- Usage count: Number of lifetime bumps used (for the free tier limit)
Permissions We Use
- Tabs: To navigate your existing Depop browser tab to your shop and listing edit pages
- Scripting: To detect when a listing edit page has loaded and click the Save button
- Cookies: To verify you are logged into Depop before performing any actions
- Alarms: To schedule automatic bump cycles at your chosen interval
- Storage: To save your settings and stats locally on your device
- Host permission (depop.com): To interact with Depop pages in your browser
Third-Party Services
Flaunt uses Stripe to process subscription payments. When you upgrade to Pro, you are directed to Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe's privacy policy applies to that transaction. Flaunt never sees or stores your payment information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the extension evolves. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
